About the National Committee

The United World Colleges (Australia) Trust Limited (ABN 64 008 498 637) "UWC Australia" is a registered company, charity, and is the representative body for UWC in Australia.

The principal activity of the company is to promote the facilitation of UWC scholarships to Australian students. The company's Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the organisation in Australia. Members of the company are the Directors and Trustees of UWC Australia. The responsibilities of UWC Australia Board of Directors include:

  • Overseeing state committee activities.
  • Coordination of UWC Australia's national profile and communication.
  • Facilitate the promotion and selection of Australian students to participate in UWC programmes.

UWC Australia's Board of Directors comprises of UWC alumni and external members.

UWC Australia is a registered charity in the state of NSW, and all contributing members are volunteers.
